Package: xss-lock
Version: 0.3.0-8
Severity: normal
Tags: patch

As I'm not using any session manager (if I was, I would probably not be using
xss-lock, would I?) when I want to log out, I just terminate the window
manager invoked by .xinitrc and X shuts down. When this happens, xss-lock
dumps core, which is a bit annoying.

This is a problem in a patch that's applied on top of the upstream tarball:
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/xss-lock/-/commit/1e158fb20108058dbd62bd51d8e8c003c0a48717

I'm proposing this patch as a fix:
https://salsa.debian.org/liskin-guest/xss-lock/-/commit/43b0ec3cc07930a01e3cea502c1286f4ad6a064b

(I also opened this as a merge request on salsa a few months ago:
https://salsa.debian.org/debian/xss-lock/-/merge_requests/1 but there was no
reply and this month I got a notification that there's a conflict, so I
thought I might ping you again.)
