--- Begin Message ---Package: gnome-core Severity: important Tags: a11y -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA512 Dear Maintainer, (NB: I don't have gnome-core itelf installed, just a subset, but it seemed to be the most appropriate thing for me to file this against.) I've used Gnome 3 for a couple of years, and very recently I've noticed that "Slow keys" is repeatedly attempting to get switched on. If I hold the shift key (even, intermittently, for what I suspect is less than 8 seconds) I see a dialog: Slow keys turned on You just held down the shift key for 8 seconds. This is the shortcut for the Slow Keys feature, which affects the way your keyboard works. This is despite accessibility shortcuts being switched off in Settings → Universal Access → Typing Assist (AssistX) → Enable by keyboard. Toggling this setting on and off does not make the dialogs stop either. The dialogs are quite frequent and disruptive, and there doesn't seem to be anything I can do to stop them, hence my "important" rating. Any help would be appreciated. Please report a new bug if similar issues persist. smcv
