Are you sure the

message is helpful for
# journalctl --boot
and
# journalctl --follow ?
It may be referring to months of old logs that aren't being shown.

MB> What exactly is the problem?
Here it
# journalctl
-- Logs begin at Sun 2020-02-02 08:24:03 CST, end at Sun 2020-06-07 01:08:28
CST. --
Feb 02 08:24:03 jidanni5 kernel: microcode: microcode updated early to revision
0x2f, date = 2019-02-17
makes sense. But here
# journalctl -f
-- Logs begin at Sun 2020-02-02 08:24:03 CST. --
Jun 07 01:04:15 jidanni5 kernel: ext4 filesystem being mounted at /mnt/usb/cf
supports timestamps until 2038 (0x7fffffff)
it is three months off. Same problem with journalctl --boot.
( https://github.com/gwsw/less/issues/68#issuecomment-640092963 got me
to take a close look at the output. )
Anyway,
$ journalctl --boot

The Hint might as well tell the user he is not really seeing the full
story that "begin at Sun 2020-02-02 10:11:32 CST"... (meaning that
"Yes, from Feb to June nobody turned on the computer.")
So it would be best to not mention when it began for certain slices.
OK, never mind. Tell him anyway. I'll close the bug now.
