Hello,
I used to have a working setup with libpam-geoip as
account required pam_geoip.so debug system_file=/etc/security/geoip.conf
geoip_db=/usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat
After upgrading to this version, I find in authlog
PASSV: pam_geoip(dovecot:account): failed to open geoip db
(/usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat - The MaxMind DB file contains invalid metadata)
This renders the geoip line rather useless.
Besides, there is no hint of any potentials incompatibilities
during upgrade, neither an upgrade path mentioned.
FYI, the /usr/share/GeoIP/GeoIPCity.dat on my system is provided
by the package geoip-database-extra version 20181108-1
