Source: mariadb-10.4
Version: 1:10.4.13-1~exp1
Severity: important
Tags: upstream
Justification: fails to build from source (but built successfully in the past)
User: [email protected]
Usertags: sh4
The MariaDB Server package was building fine on sh4 in version
1:10.4.12-1~exp3. However the next upload of 1:10.4.13-1~exp1
regressed it.
Before:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=mariadb-10.4&arch=sh4&ver=1%3A10.4.12-1%7Eexp3&stamp=1586540743&raw=0
After:
https://buildd.debian.org/status/fetch.php?pkg=mariadb-10.4&arch=sh4&ver=1%3A10.4.13-1%7Eexp1&stamp=1593419362&raw=0
The error is in the configure stage that yields:
*****
CMake Error: Generator: execution of make failed. Make command was:
/usr/bin/gmake cmTC_6b47d/fast &&
-- Performing Test have_C__Wdeclaration_after_statement - Failed
*****
This did not happen in the build of the previous version.
Help from sh4 experts on why this happens on sh4 but not other
platforms would be appreciated.
