Package: thunderbird

Extensions no longer work since recent update.
Examples: QuickFolders, Toggle Word Wrap, DOM Instepctor Plus!, Dorando

Add-ons are optional and made by contributors so they are responsible to
get them work with recent Thunderbird versions. The maintainers of the
Thunderbird package doesn't know and can't know which Add-on a user has
installed locally.
Following your logic we would never have a newer version of Thunderbird
within the archive as there is always at least one Add-on which will not
work with newer Thunderbird versions.
So you need to ask the maintainers of the Add-ons you use or want to use
in case they are not working any longer. As there is nothing I or the
maintainers of the TB package can do about and this at all nor that is a
Debian issue I will close this report.
