Might be a flaw in some version, but I cannot see which that would be, 
so I consider it more likely that perhaps you tested against a 
removed-but-not-purged package.

If I had responded quicker, we might have been able to test that.  
Sorry about the delay.

In any case, since that conffile is included with current release which 
seems to handle it by the book, it should be good now and I hereby close 
this bugreport.
