Package: libsane
Version: 1.0.25-4.1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
scanimage and xsane cannot operate the Xerox Travel Scanner 100.
Sometimes scanimage segfaults, and sometimes there is a USB descriptor
read error, and sometimes the motor runs and an output file is
produced, but the illuminator is off and the image file is all black.
This is what CLI show with "device descriptor read/64, error -110"
$ sudo scanimage > /tmp/image.png
scanimage: sane_start: Invalid argument
Here is what I got with the segfault. I just installed
systemd-coredump, so I don't have a corefile.
$ sudo scanimage > /tmp/image.png
Segmentation fault
