Package: vim-perl
Version: 1:7.0-017+2
Severity: normal

Since the upgrade to 7.0, gvim doesn't show any syntax highlighting. I
tried C, Perl and sh syntax (both via :set and the Syntax menu), but
nothing happens. Everything is fine if I revert to 6.4.

To answer your next question: I haven't touched /etc/vim/{,g}vimrc, and
both were correctly upgraded by dpkg. Oh, and -u NONE -U NONE has no
effect.

Let me know if I can help you track this one down.

Ok, so I guess I can close the bug then :-)

No, it wasn't. It was commented in /etc/vim/vimrc.

Cheers.
