Hi,
I intend to salvage the check source package.
src:check was last uploaded by its maintainer in 2013 and the last two
uploads are NMUs.
Due to #918572 check was several months not available in testing,
fixed by Paul last month.
My interest in Check is based on it being a build dependency of vnstat
and selint[1].
The package lacks latest upstream releases (0.12.0 vs 0.15.0).
I created a NMU upload[2] but due to some changes were out of scope
for an NMU, salvaging was suggested.
