With thunderbird 1:90.0~b2-1, Edit->Preferences comes up with a blank
page for general preferences. Account Settings and Add-ons pages still
come up.
This was only a minor annoyance before but came up when I needed to link
a large attachment via DropBox: it seems the credentials stored in the
General Settings page had to be updated and I couldn't get to them.
I upgraded all the packages thunderbird depends on, to no avail.
There is no work-around this problem.

Thank you very much for the quick response.
1:91.0.2-1 is in experimental and has not yet gotten to the testing
distribution that I track.It also depends on libicu69 which is also just in
experimental.
But good to know this is fixed and should find its way to testing soon.

this was already reported by #990631 and fixed by 1:91.0~b1-1

There is 1:91.0.2-1 in the archive so you should first update your
installed version.
