Dear Maintainer,

in tests/suite there is following line:

        : ${insserv:=${PWD}/../insserv}

I assume, that shy assignment (${foo:=defval}) means that I can override
this value via environment variable. But I try, I get following error:

        $ make check insserv=/sbin/insserv
        rm -rf tests/root/
        cd tests && ./common
        /home/iu/devel/salsa/debian/insserv/tests

        info: test simple script ordering.
