Package: upgrade-reports
Severity: critical
Justification: breaks the whole system

Dear Maintainer,

   * What led up to the situation?
Upgrading system to the testing branch.

   * What exactly did you do (or not do) that was effective (or
     ineffective)?
Just installed debian-8.6.0-xfce-CD-1. Everything was alright. Then I
added testing branch of repository to the sources.list with "main contrib
non-free" options. Then I did "apt-get update" -> "apt-get dist-upgrade".

   * What was the outcome of this action?
System doesn't load. Instead of "Loading initramfs" just blinking '_'.

   * What outcome did you expect instead?
That system would load just like it was after fresh install.

This is probably due to my PC is being very old - Celeron 1.1 Ghz, 512Mb Ram,
motherboard Elitegroup P6VXAT.

Hi

This bug was filed for a very old kernel or the bug is old itself
without resolution.

If you can reproduce it with

- the current version in unstable/testing
- the latest kernel from backports

please reopen the bug, see https://www.debian.org/Bugs/server-control
for details.

Regards,
Salvatore
