Package: libjpeg-dev
Version: 1:1.5.1-2
Severity: grave

Dear Maintainer.
    It appeares that the provided pkg-config libjpeg.pc file contains
    an unsubsituted 'regexp', @VERSIONH@.

    It is guessed that the rules file does not define it

This seems to be fixed in the current version:

$ dpkg-query -W libjpeg62-turbo-dev:amd64
libjpeg62-turbo-dev:amd64       1:2.0.6-4
$ grep @ /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/libjpeg.pc
$ grep Version /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/pkgconfig/libjpeg.pc
Version: 2.0.6
