Package: fdupes
Version: 1:2.1.2-1
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

I used fdupes in order to delete duplicate files in a directory with
one subdirectory :

fdupes -r -d .

There came 6 sets of files

As I did before with debian 10, I chose to preserve one file each time.
ex :

Set 5 of 6:

    [-] ./9296.epub.epub
    [+] ./calibre_bust/Samuel Richardson/Clarissa Harlowe; or the history of a
young lady -- Volume 1 (219)/Clarissa Harlowe; or th
e history of a youn - Samuel Richardson.epub

Set 6 of 6:

  1 [-] ./pg59774-images.epub
  2 [+] ./calibre_bust/H. G. Wells/30 Strange Stories (225)/30 Strange Stories
- H. G. Wells.epub

Usualy, the program would stop deleting unwanted files.

But with debian 11.1 The only way to stop is Crtl C then exit and no files are
deleted.
If I answer no to exit, same questions come back again.

that's because the new default for fdupes --delete is to open an
interactive window. type `help` in that window to get help.

This is not a bug in the package, so please seek user support in an
appropriate forum which you can find at https://www.debian.org/support
