Package: samba
Version: 3.0.7
Severity: wishlist

After putting "use sendfile = no" in the global section of smb.conf it works
again. This bug is as it seems kernel-related (new or modified api-call) and
though it would be nice if the debian-package informs about that
incompatibility. The error from the samba.log follows:
[2004/09/17 13:05:12, 0] smbd/reply.c:send_file_readX(2134)
send_file_readX: sendfile failed for file path/file.ext (Invalid argument).
Terminating
