Currently, we ship 2 executables in the gparted package:
- - /usr/sbin/gpartedbin, the actual application;
- - /usr/sbin/gparted, a wrapper script that tries to ensure only one gparted
instance can run at once, and also performs various X-related workarounds.
gpartedbin is not an executable which is meant to be invoked by the end-user,
and as such should not be placed in the PATH.
The [policy] requires the use of the [FHS v3], which itself suggests using
[/usr/libexec] for internal executables not meant to be called by users.
I already forwarded this bug upstream, so there is no action currently
required on your part.
