Dear Maintainer,
I haven't found the upstream maintainer, so I report to Debian.
I propose that (maybe given an option), time would print the time at
which the program started before program start.
I would be very useful for being able to see how run a program runs.

As you have noted this is something that is better handled by the user
as they wish. That is more flexible. And the user may want different
things at different times. Therefore dealing with this way is best.
Therefore I am closing the report.
Thank you for your bug report.
