Hello!

I installed Debian 10.6.0 using debian-live-10.6.0-amd64-xfce+nonfree.iso.
While installing I created new partition table of type GPT. While creating
partitions I chose "encrypt" for /home and supplied the passphrase.

Then after installation when the system rebooted, Debian failed to start. It
shows error "Failed to start Cryptography setup for luks-*". screenshot:

journalctl -xb shows error "systemd-cryptseup: Failed to open key file"
followed by "systemd-cryptseup: Failed to activate with key file
'/crypto_keyfile.bin': Invalid argument" screenshot:

$ cat /etc/crypttab
# <name>               <device>                         <password> <options>
luks-f5a29dc6-60bd-4af3-9eec-79bd4442f4a8
UUID=f5a29dc6-60bd-4af3-9eec-79bd4442f4a8     /crypto_keyfile.bin
luks,keyscript=/bin/cat
$

Setting <password> field to "none" and removing "keyscript=/bin/cat" from
<options> field fixes the issue.

I could reproduce this with 10.6.0-live as well as 10.5.0-live.

Thanks!

--- Begin Message --- Thanks for your bug report. This works on calamares since Debian 11. When choosing to encrypt /home, you will now see a prompt like the attached screenshot and the system will continue booting normally after the correct passphrase has been specified.
