Quoting Bdale in the RM bug above: It looks like the last gspiceui upstream release was in late 2018, and the only reason it depends on geda-gaf is that it wants to use gnetlist to import schematic data from gschem. Updating that to use lepton-netlist to import schematic data from lepton-schematic should be a pretty simple search and replace operation if keeping gspiceui seems worthwhile (I don't know, I've never used it).
