If you are using apt you can use this entry in /etc/apt/sources.list:

  deb http://security.debian.org/ stable/updates main


This needs updating to "stable-security".

And the "if you are using apt" is probably also not a relevant
question anymore today. I'd just shorten it to "You can use this
entry...".
