Crontab lets me start two 'crontab -e' in two differents windows without
complaining. Two person editing the same crontab will cheerfully trash
each other's modifications.

Hi,
I read the bug report, which is becoming quite old now.
The case reported by Farzad FARID is probably a corner-case, as the bug
report was not reclaimed by other people for more than twenty years.
The decision of Vociferous Mole to tag it as a wish makes sense.
Please feel free to reopen this bug report.
Best regards, Georges.
