Package: src:ea-utils
Severity: normal

Hi,

ea-utils was moved from Google Code to Github[1]. While upstream does
not use release tags I have at least asked for it[2]. In any case the
code on Github is developed further drastically compared to what we are
distributing in Debian which can be easily seen by the fact that its now
C++ rather than C.

Any volunteer is welcome to upgrade the packaging to the latest code
base.

Kind regards

       Andreas.

Hi,

I'm closing this bug hereby since the ea-utils mentioned in this bug
report seems to be a completely new software. Both are orphaned
upstream thus there seems to be no good reason to replace the existing
one that might have some users to be replace by something else.

Kind regards
   Andreas.
