Trying to install borgbackup from git i got:
Exception: Could not find deflate lib/headers, please set
BORG_LIBDEFLATE_PREFIX or ensure libdeflate.pc is in PKG_CONFIG_PATH.
On for example Ubuntu 20.04 i found:

Control: fixed -1 libdeflate/1.9
Hi Tony,
the reason why this problem does not occure in Ubuntu is, that Ubuntu
drains from Debian unstable. The problem was fixed in:
libdeflate (1.9-1) unstable; urgency=medium
* Team upload.
* New upstream version
* Add missing build dependency on dh addon.
* Install pkgconfig file

Thus I mark this bug as fixed in version 1.9. I'm also closing this bug
since it is closed in Debian testing / unstable. Since this bug is not
critical for system security I can not fix it in Debian stable.
