I have an HP officejet v40xi. I'm using hplip and foomatic-db-hpijs for
printer driver. After I setup the printer in the cups printer
configuration, the ppd which is in gziped format gets copied to the
/etc/cups/ppd directory, but the file is corrupted. The last few lines
are missing (when comparing with manually gunziped file from
/usr/share/cups/model/foomatic-ppds/HP/HP-OfficeJet_V40xi-hpijs.ppd.gz)
and the last line is truncated. The diff is shown below
$ diff corrupted.ppd /etc/cups/ppd/HP_OfficeJet_V40xi.ppd
