Package: xscreensaver
Version: 5.15-3
Severity: important

Dear Maintainer,

The PC is a MythTV frontend.
Scvreensaver is always disabled.

Since updating packages on 6 August 2012, screen would blank a few minutes
after pausing or ending a recording.
The update included:
nvidia-glx (295.53-1) to 302.17-3
nvidia-installer-cleanup (20111111+3) to 20120630+1
nvidia-kernel-common (20111111+3) to 20120630+1
nvidia-kernel-source (295.53-1) to 302.17-3
nvidia-support (20111111+3) to 20120630+1
nvidia-vdpau-driver (295.53-1) to 302.17-3
nvidia-xconfig (295.33-1) to 302.17-2
xscreensaver (5.15-2) to 5.15-3
xscreensaver-data (5.15-2) to 5.15-3

I have a mythfrontend start-up script. Adding the following to the script has
not fixed it:
xset -display :0 -dpms s off s noblank

After the screen has blanked, I can unblank it by pressing a key or moving a
mouse.
Executing xset q at the Terminal:
alister@mythtv-1:~$ xset q
Keyboard Control:

DPMS (Energy Star):

With xscreensaver configured as "Disable Screen Saver" I expect the screen

The original submitter didn't reply on this, and the issue not being
reproducible, this bug report will be closed.
