As Theme i use
metal-small/default.theme
In line 43 of /usr/X11R6/lib/X11/icewm/themes/metal-small/default.theme
there is:
ClockFontName=""
When starting icewm using this theme an error Message
IceWM: Warning: Could not load font "".
is displayed (i.e. using ROX Session Manager)
To delete the ClockFontName="" line is a solution.
I am not sure, if this is interesting for you, but if it is
