When using AutoLogin with a non-zero AutoLoginDelay, kdm
displays a greeter with a filled-in username and a greyed-out
password. That is all it does:
- Kdm does not start autologin after the specified delay.
- The password field is and remains greyed-out. The username
can be edited, but there is no way to enter a password.
Typing return also doesn't have any effect.

kdm was last released with Debian 8 (jessie) in April 2015
and was removed from the Debian archive afterwards.
It has been superseded by sddm.
