Hi,

I noticed and reported to upstream that kdm was executing preloadkde even if
Preloader is commented out in kdmrc.

As you can read in the upstream bug report the use of genkdmrc is causing this
unexpected behaviour. From what Oswald Buddenhagen says it seems that the use
of genkdmrc, it could be possible that other "unexpected" changes are made
(either now or in the future.)

I don't know what the reason for using genkdmrc is, but this bug seems like it
was introduced by the Debian packaging. Please fix it.

Thanks in advance.

Regards,

kdm was last released with Debian 8 (jessie) in April 2015
and was removed from the Debian archive afterwards.
It has been superseded by sddm.
See https://bugs.debian.org/803635 for details on the removal.
I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.

Andreas
