--- Begin Message ---Package: icewm-gnome Version: 1.2.7-2 Severity: normal Tags: sid upstream I've noticed a problem where the windows resize automatically. Here's the scenario: - open up an application (say, xterm) and maximize vertically (Alt+Shift+F10 by default). - use the mouse to resize it (say, take the bottom window border and move it closer to the top). If you can't get a resize pointer, resize using the keys (for example, Alt+F8, then Key_Down, then few Key_Ups) - switch to another virtual desktop - return back, and see the opened window vertically maximized again, as if you didn't resize it. Notes: a) this problem does not appear when you maximize completely, because then manual resizing is disabled until you explicitly un-maximize (talking about the default settings, of course). b) I believe this bug was not present in stable, therefore the 'sid' tag -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable Architecture: i386 Kernel: Linux denali 2.4.19doc1.0 #4 Sun Dec 15 07:24:16 CET 2002 i686 Locale: LANG=C, LC_CTYPE=C Versions of packages icewm-gnome depends on: ii icewm 1.2.7-2 A wonderful Win95-OS/2-Motif-like ii icewm-common 1.2.7-2 A wonderful Win95-OS/2-Motif-like ii icewm-gnome-support 1.2.7-2 GNOME support files for IceWM -- no debconf information
