Package: mkvmlinuz
Version: 12
Severity: minor
Hello, ...
I have gotten a report from Raylynn Knight about adding support for
nubus pmacs in debian/sarge. It runs only 2.4.27 kernels for now, and
there is no kernel package yet, but i open this bug report to save the
info about this :

Appears so. I left off the 7100 which follows:
processor : 0
cpu : 740/750
revision : 2.2 (pvr 0008 0202)
bogomips : 478.41
machine : PowerMac,NuBus
motherboard : PDM MacRISC
detected as : 0 (<NULL>)
pmac flags : 00000000
memory : 136MB
pmac-generation : NuBus
So, checking for pmac-generation : NuBus would be good here. I will
provide a patch for the generation of the kernel image later on, after
we have a kernel package for it, which altough it will be a 2.4.27
kernel, will probably follow the mkvmlinuz procedure (since NuBus uses
the mklinux boot loader, which needs a zImage+builtin initrd).
Friendly,
Sven Luther

mkvmlinuz was last released with Debian 8 (jessie) in April 2015
and was removed from the Debian archive afterwards.
I'm closing the remaining bug reports now.
