Package: lilo
Version: 1:23.2-4
Severity: normal

Dear Maintainer,

a bootable rescue CD is required, but mkrescue / lilo failed.
I tried using lilo version 24.1, but there is the same problem.

mkrescue --iso --size HD --debug

Caching device /dev/root (0xFE00)
Fatal: device-mapper: only linear boot device supported

brw-rw---T 1 root disk 254, 0 Jun 20 11:14 /dev/dm-0
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root root 4 Jun 20 11:14 /dev/root -> dm-0

But it is the root device and not the boot device.

Lilo installed in the MBR of the hard disk works without problems.
