sway 1.7-6 is part of stable in a built version without any adjustment
of ipc-json.c, so sway 1.7 *does not* fail to build. Therefore I'm
closing this bug report.
If you still thing there is a problem, please reopen and provide
a) the build log
b) the patch you applied to make it work
