Package: gnome-shell-extension-top-icons-plus
Version: 21-2
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
when i install and enable this extension in gnome 3.26, every
fullscreen-mode from firefox or totem (for example watching a picture in
facebook or a video in totem in fullscreen), freezes the screen. No way
back, only kill the whole session from another TTY or even computer.
Sometimes i cannot change to another TTY also.
I don't know, if the screen-freeze on startup after logging in, also
comes from this extension. Or also beeing thrown back to gdm, half a
second, after i can see my desktop-background. It doesn't happen again,
since i deinstalled this extension.
Steps to reproduce a desktop-freeze:
1) Install this extension
2) activate it in gnome-tweak-tool
3) open totem or parole and play a video or open firefox go to facebook, klick
on
a picture or video and klick the arrow right above to see it in
fullscreen
4) freeze
Kill the session and watch the same in totem and facebook withouth this
extension enabled -> no freeze!
thank you
jakob
