Hello,
I have enabled iksd in my configuration, and /srv/ftp exists. I want to use
anonymous mode.
Initially it added this to /etc/inetd.conf:
kermit stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/iksd -A
--initfile:/etc/kermit/iksd-anon.conf --dbfile:/var/run/iksd.db --syslog:5
--root:/srv/ftp --anonymous:on
However, after connecting, I'd immediately get a "Connection terminated by
foreign host." Hmm.
I determined this line allows it to run and even give a login prompt:
kermit stream tcp nowait root /usr/sbin/tcpd /usr/sbin/iksd -A
--dbfile:/var/run/iksd.db --root:/srv/ftp --anonymous:on
Now, "telnet localhost kermit" will connect, and after about a 10-second delay,
display the banner and a username prompt.
However, both "anonymous" and "ftp" usernames produce "access denied".
Within kermit, "iksd localhost" doesn't work at all. I also tried "iksd
/encrypt:none localhost", and that was no better.
