Package: ifupdown
Version: 0.6.10
Severity: normal

Hi,

recently I have noticed that the route command issues an error message
while the network is brought up through the initscripts and ifupdown.
It seems that ifupdown uses wrong paramters when invoking the BSD
route command which seems to understand a different syntax as compared
to the Linux version (e.g. while calling the Linux version of "route"
display the current routing table, the BSD version will output a usage
information).

Here comes the output of "ifup -a" on my kFreeBSD machine:

The networking still works fine, however.
