Package: opendmarc
Version: 1.4.2-3
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
Since version 1.4.2-3, opendmarc is no longer able to send reports, presumably
due to sandboxing features that were added in this Debian revision.
More precisely, I have enabled the “FailureReports” option. Reports are then
sent via the sendmail binary, which on my system is handled by postfix. I have
many messages such as this one in my log:
août 13 23:41:22 rama postfix/postdrop[3510103]: warning: mail_queue_enter:
create file maildrop/323242.3510103: Permission denied
The sendmail and postdrop process ard spawned by opendmarc, and thus belong to
the same systemd unit. Because of the sandboxing, they are no longer able to
push mail to the postfix queue (since that process involves a change in
UID/GID).
Thanks for your work,
