--- Begin Message ---Package: xorgxrdp Version: 0.2.12 I'm using Debian 11 bulleyes We are installing xrdp package on top of Debian using sudo apt-get install xrdp command Installation is going through and no errors is thrown After installing the xrdp package (and xorgxrdp package) on Debian 11, users are not able to perform remote connections. The remote connection process but users end up on white screen where the message (see screenshot) Oh No ! Something has gone wrong. Logout and try again Expected result : the user should have access to the Gnome Desktop Interface via the Remote Desktop protocol Possible root cause : Based on the information found on the github of the software maintainer (see <https://github.com/neutrinolabs/xorgxrdp/issues/156>), this is a known issue with version xorgxrdp-0.2.12. The proposed solution is to upgrade to a newer version of the xrdp/xorgxrdp packages We have compiled the xrdp (0.9.17) and xorgxrdp (0.2.15) and the expected result is achieved.
