Currently, lm-sensors package has Depends: perl:any. However, the only
utility which uses perl - sensors-detect - is just fine with perl-base,
it does not use anything from the more complete perl package.
On many systems we have, perl is only pulled by lm-sensors, and on all
these systems, we don't even need sensors-detect. It'd be nice to get
rid of this dependency.
Please note that perl-base is Essential: yes. So is sed (which is also
in Depends: line), and the minimum-required version of sed (4.0.5) is
long in debian (buster has sed version 4.7 already). So both extra
dependencies should be removed from the Depends: line.
