Hi,
additionally to python2.5-elementtree|ctypes|etc., Python 2.5 should also
provide python-elementtree|ctypes|etc. That way, other Python extensions/modules
(like elementtidy) just need to depend on the versionless package and can be
sure to have all dependencies satisfied.

no, we can't do that as long as 2.5 is not the default python version,
because that would break the dependencies for the default python
version.
