Dear Maintainer,

python-lockfile is a dependency of pip. As such, it should really be
maintained as part of the Debian Python Modules Team, and managed
under the team's version control system. I would like to help
maintain the package, and would be willing to bring it under team
maintenance (or even team upload), and help maintain it.

Please consider bringing it under the DPMT.
