Package: enigmail
Version: 2:1.7.2-1~deb7u1
Severity: important
Dear Maintainer,
I installed Enigmail on a new installation of Debian. Opening IceDove I found
Enigmail listed as an Addon but disabled
I searched the web and found an older bug report for another architecture which
is relevent. See
https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/enigmail/+bug/1243385
The steps in this old bug report has the user open /usr/lib/xul-
ext/enigmail/install.rdf and alter
<em:targetPlatform>Linux_unknown</em:targetPlatform>.
I found this line to read <em:targetPlatform>WINNT</em:targetPlatform>
I replaced WINNT with the string for my system, Linux_ppc-gcc3
Restarting IceDove resulted with Enigmail functioning correctly and I was able
to use the Setup Wizard.
