Dear Maintainer,
I've recently been running nouveau with 3d acceleration enabled on
testing (wheezy). It seems to be working rather well in most regards.
I've gotten gnome-shell to work with it also, but several critical
sections of shell functionality seem to be missing, and I'm not
experiencing these bugs with the proprietary nvidia driver.
In the overview:
- I cannot seem to rearrange windows very easily. That is to say, I
try grabbing a window and moving it in the overview either from one
monitor to the other or from one desktop to the other and nothing
happens. Sometimes I can move it if I grab it from the very top, but
this doesn't make sense as I'm trying to move it from the overview,
not on the normal desktop view (where moving windows works fine)
- clicking on applications in the doc neither launches them nor raises
their visibility.
Some additional notes:
- I'm using a dual monitor setup using the XaphodHeads setup in xorg
- 05:00.0 VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation G84 [GeForce 8400 GS]
