my first attempts with statserial

with no args is guesses Device: /dev/ttyS1 in contrast to what the man
page says

when i hit ^C the page is cleared. how frustrating

using -n does nothing. i thought it would at least run once

$ watch -d=c statserial
and then running minicom in another window for a talk with my modem,
doesn't even show one char.

well, over my head.
