We recently added autopkgtests to libpanel. The autopkgtest is failing
on riscv64 but is passing on every other debci architecture. The test
is not currently configured to run as part of dh_auto_test (nor is it
upstream although it is derived from an upstream test that is not
suitable to be ran automatically).
Comparing with a successful build, the riscv64 build emits several
warnings like:
The XKEYBOARD keymap compiler (xkbcomp) reports:
> Warning: Could not resolve keysym XF86CameraAccessEnable
A successful build will emit messages like this showing the action
that took place:
> src/debian/tests/3buttons: A button was removed from the panel.
None of those messages are emitted on riscv64.
libpanel is only used by gnome-builder and sysprof's UI (the sysprof
source package is also configured to skip building the UI on some
architectures that don't support the UI).
Because libpanel does build on riscv64 and this failure seems
relatively minor in whether riscv64 is a viable architecture, I will
upload a change to skip running this autopkgtest on riscv64. I'm
filing this bug for awareness and in hopes that the autopkgtest will
one day pass on all our release architectures.
