Dear Maintainer,
I am seeing the following error in my logfiles:
postfix.service: Got notification message from PID 7097, but reception is
disabled.
If I understand correctly, this means postfix is using the SD_NOTIFY protocol
to tell
systemd that it is ready, but systemd is not configured to actually expect this
message.
Kind regards,
Ralf

If I understand correctly, this means postfix is using the SD_NOTIFY protocol

The thing is that postfix never used SD_NOTIFY protocol, ever. So it's unclear
what
on your system were sending notifies.
Also the version of postfix you're reporting this against, in debian, had no
systemd integration whatsoever, and solely relied on sysvinit init.d scripts
for startup, where SD_NOTIFY protocol is not used at all. Postfix in debian
gained systemd support in version v3.1.0-3.1.
So it looks like it was a custom service, not coming from debian postfix
package.
Closing this bug report now. Feel free to reopen it if you think this is
incorrect.
Thanks,
