ptyxis doesn't currently register anything for the x-terminal-emulator
alternative.
Because it doesn't implement the option names mandated by that interface
(-T TITLE and -e COMMAND ARGS), we can't directly register ptyxis as an
x-terminal-emulator, but instead we would have to provide a wrapper script
similar to gnome-terminal.wrapper. I would suggest naming it something
more like deb-ptyxis-wrapper to make it obvious that it's Debian-specific.
I recently updated gnome-terminal.wrapper to remove some non-functional
options and give it its own man page (separate from gnome-terminal(1),
and documenting the x-terminal-emulator syntax). I think this could be
a good basis for an equivalent wrapper for ptyxis.
