If a spelling check is performed from a certain point in a document and
an error is found, but the user chooses to close the spelling checker
and fix the problem later, then re-starts the spelling check from the
same point, the count of words checked reported at the completion of the
spelling check is incorrect.
It looks like the number of words reported is the sum of the number of
words checked in the successful run and all unsuccessful runs leading up
to the current successful run.
