Package: gnome-pim
Version: 1.0.8-1
Severity: wishlist
I wish that the different display panels didn't treat time in discrete
units, that time were treated as a continuous stream.
I'm a night owl, so I often schedule activities that span the midnight
separation. The internal datastructures seem to handle this well, but
the user interface has weak support. The daily schedule could allow me
to view the timeline past the midnight line for example.
Similarly, the monthly schedule becomes more and more useless as you get
closer to the end of the month. This would be alleviated by the addition
of a scrollbar and allowing the user to scroll up/down one week at a time.
The same holds for the weekly and yearly schedules.

The gnome-pim package has been removed from Debian. The reason is that it
is "old, obsolete, unmaintained upstream, and doesn't work properly. Better
alternatives (Evolution, Contacts, ...) are available in Debian."
