Package: gnome-pim
Version: 1.2.0-helix1
Severity: wishlist
gnomecal would make a good replacement for the (non-free) package 'remind',
if it didn't fail with a 'could not open display' error. This is also
annoying when using ssh on my slowly connected home mashine...
Best, of course would be to seperate the UI code into a plugin - so the date
engine could be used without gtk installed...

The gnome-pim package has been removed from Debian. The reason is that it
is "old, obsolete, unmaintained upstream, and doesn't work properly. Better
alternatives (Evolution, Contacts, ...) are available in Debian."
